Parent Faculty Association

Welcome to Park City Academy!  We have an active Parent Faculty Association (PFA) dedicated to improving the quality of each child’s school experience.  We support the teachers by assisting as room parents and sponsoring teacher appreciation activities.  We plan social events, such as the annual Back to School and End of Year barbeques that allow parents and students to socialize in a casual environment.  We organize and participate in fundraising events that foster a sense of common purpose and improve our school.

Our parents are a special group of high achievers who desire academic excellence and a safe environment for their children.  They take an active role in their children’s lives and in the Park City community.  Many of the families at Park City Academy have the opportunity to live and work wherever they want and intentionally choose to make Park City their home because of the superb lifestyle it affords.  For example, the average commute in Park City is under 30 minutes; most people (88% in 84098) can afford to own their own homes; our population is much more educated than the national average; our weather is highly desirable, and crime is almost non-existent.    And of course, thousands of people from all over the world vacation at Park City’s three world class ski resorts and attend the Sundance Film Festival.   We are fortunate to raise children in an environment so rich in cultural and recreational opportunities!
