Financial Aid

The Academy strives to make a Park City Academy education possible for students and families who may be unable to attend without financial assistance.  The admissions office is happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps for applying for financial assistance listed below.

Admission to Park City Academy and the awarding of financial aid are two separate decisions.  Families applying for financial aid should declare their intention to apply for aid during the admission process.  After a student is accepted, the Financial Aid Committee determines the family’s ability to pay and the current year’s availability of financial aid funds, and makes the best award possible based on this information.

Financial aid at Park City Academy is awarded on a yearly basis, and families applying for aid will need to reapply for each year they wish to be considered for financial aid.

Steps to apply for financial aid:

  1. Check the box indicating your intention to apply for financial aid on the application for admission to Park City Academy.
  1. Completing your financial status statement online is the fastest way to proceed with an application for financial aid.  To apply online, click on the link for School and Student Service (SSS) to the right and complete and submit the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online.
  1. If you prefer to complete the PFS application and submit by mail, please advise the admission office and request a financial aid application form.
  1. Provide a copy of your latest filed tax return to the admissions office.

Confidentiality

All information concerning financial aid submitted to Park City Academy is held in the strictest confidence.  Only those individuals involved in the awarding of financial aid grants are privy to a family’s financial information.  Financial aid status of students attending PCA is also strictly confidential.
